International Millets day Recipe Ragi idli
International Millets day was.Yesterday But since the menu for the bf was decided earlier, could not celebrate it. So today I made Ragi iddlies & poladpur Iddlies. Corporate world may be celebrating it today, so adding to their festivities. This is one of the lost recipes of India.
Recipe for Poladpur Idly.
Firstly, Poladpur is small town in coastal Konkan. From here is a road to Mahabaleshwar which is the most scenic one in the entire state. Secondly there is nothing called Poladpur iddly but there is a Poladpur Ghavne which is made on festivals. Somehow my batter does not rise. This is the third time I have gone ahead with idli which tastes best with my made chutney.
