Indian Alchemy Restaurant certainly the best in business Daal makhani
Close Friend and a long time member of GFF, Pratibha Yadvendra' invite for the few year's rooftop party was enticing as always. I was taken aback with surprise when I found INDIAN ALCHEMY and Jhanvi Celly Saxena doing the event.
Once again...... VERY CAREFULLY AND DEVOTEDLY PREPARED FOOD. KASHMIRI FOOD which began and ended with KAHWA, deliciously portrayed culinary orgasm at its best. CHICKEN MATAHANIA KEBABS, perfectly marinated with actual and soon to be extinct chilli powder from mathania melted in mouth leaving us with the sense of Kashmiri pride. GRILLED PORTOBELLO MUSHROOMS, though without the taste of their own, were perfectly grilled with a combination of sauce that suited the palate of few non mushroom guests too.
THAI BURMESE KACHORI, a concoction of Thai style Kachori with Curry recipe, particularly popular in a village in Thailand, with a mix of Khowsuey inspired coconut curry preparation eaten with the dipped Indian micro Kachori. A yummylicious Rajasthani KADHI-KACHORI with a difference.
TABAK MAZ, RISHTA, GUSTABA.
NADERU YAKHNI, HAQ SAAG.
Fragrant, Hot, Aromatic KASHMIR was at its best. Each item tasted absolutely authentic to Mr Dhar, a fellow guest diner, a child hood friend and a passionate kashmiri.

DAAL MAKHANI
My all time favourite from Indian Alchemy. To me certainly the best in business DAAL MAKHANI. Savoured with Tandoori Roti or Stuffed Aloo Kulcha, it satiates my taste buds no end.
KAAFIR LIME AND PASSIONFRUIT POPS
MICROSOFT JALEBI WITH RABRI
Though Desserts were many, I stuck to these two. Crispy Jalebi coated in Rabri was bereft of the extra & unnecessary sweetness that keeps many away from desserts. Perhaps usage of GUR as sweetner in Rabri was wisdom of yore.
